On its surface, Anatomy of a Fall is a whodunit murder mystery. But as the film progresses, the focus shifts to the moral ambiguity of the legal system. The plot centers around Sandra Voyter, a writer whose world is shattered when her husband’s dead body is found outside their isolated chalet in the French Alps. Sandra is soon forced to prove her innocence – both to the court and to her half-blind son.
Anatomy of a Fall was nominated for Best Motion Picture at the 2024 Academy Awards. In addition, Sandra Hüller was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance as Sandra Voyter.
The first fifteen people to register will receive a free bag of gourmet popcorn! Receiving popcorn based on registering no later than, Friday, June 9 at 3:00 pm (pst)). Register using the sidebar at left.
