After last year’s fantastic response, we’re excited to bring back our Adopt-a-Beach event. Join fellow Harvard Law alumni and friends for a meaningful morning at Santa Monica Beach!
In collaboration with Heal the Bay, we’ll gather at Santa Monica Beach – Ocean Park to remove harmful trash and help protect our coastline. It’s shocking how much trash ends up on our beaches—but even more incredible how much of an impact we can make in just one morning. Every piece of plastic we remove is one less threat to our ocean, wildlife, and future generations.
This event is open to everyone, so feel free to bring your kids, spouses, significant others, friends, and beach-loving acquaintances.
📍 Event Details:
10:00 AM: Meet at Santa Monica Beach – Ocean Park
Kickoff: A Heal the Bay speaker will provide instructions
Cleanup: We’ll spend about an hour to an hour and a half collecting trash
Lunch: After the cleanup, we can gather at nearby picnic benches. Bring your own packed meal or grab food from Perry’s Beach Café.

All participants must sign a Heal the Bay waiver to join
To keep this cleanup as eco-friendly as possible, please bring your own reusable gloves and a bucket or bag. A limited supply of trash bags and disposable gloves will be available.
